- Rehabilitation of one of South Florida’s most high-profile ocean piers, constructed over Atlantic waters with strong tides, heavy surf.
- Work performed from floats, engineered platforms, elevated scaffolding, and compact spyder cranes.
- Removed all deteriorated handrails, pavilions, framing, and decking.
- Installed 1,880 linear feet of new hardwood IPE handrail and 875 linear feet of structural framing and brackets.
- Installed 17,200 square feet of IPE decking secured with 1000s of bolted and epoxy-anchored connections, plus breakaway decking panels at the T-head for extreme wave exposure.
- Pile jacketing along with concrete spall and crack repair throughout the superstructure and underdeck areas.
- Constructed of 2 IPE pavilion structures and installation of 15 custom benches and 5 fish cleaning stations.
- Electrical reconstruction of conduit, panels, lighting, lightning protection, wiring, and 640 linear feet of potable water piping.
- Work performed using lifeline safety systems, floating equipment, elevated scaffolding, and specialized rigging in open-ocean conditions.
