- Replacemed six low-level bridges within the Palm Beach Isles neighborhood on Singer Island.
- Working in a fully developed residential community, requiring precise staging & continuous one-way traffic access.
- Each bridge replaced in its existing alignment and widened to include bicycle and pedestrian shoulders.
- Construction completed under a fast-track schedule with overlapping bridge sequences and limited work zones.
- New bridges supported on 18-inch square prestressed concrete piles drilled and driven through dense coral rock to achieve design bearing.
- Abutments and bulkheads constructed using precast panels, tieback systems, and cast-in-place concrete caps.
- Precast slab units laterally post-tensioned and topped with cast-in-place concrete.
- Utilities relocated and integrated into new planter walls.
- Turbidity controls implemented to protect seagrass beds and water quality during in-water operations.
