scope of work
- Construction of a new public fishing pier and waterfront boardwalk extending from Melody Lane at Boston Avenue.
- Supported by 18” square prestressed concrete piles with cast-in-place pile caps and stone-clad concrete bollards.
- Superstructure built with 3×10 pressure-treated SYP stringers and ThruFlow decking for storm resilience and water permeability.
- Architectural entry archway constructed of reinforced concrete with decorative veneer finishes by local artisan Anita Prentice.
- Installation of powder-coated aluminum handrails, custom signage, and dedication plaques.
- Integration of utilities including water, sewer, and electrical systems with new lighting and receptacles.
- Site amenities include fish cleaning station, benches, bike racks, garbage and monofilament receptacles, and new ADA-accessible sidewalk connections.
- All work performed under FDEP and ACOE permits, meeting FDOT and FBC design standards.
